ESI refers to Employee State Insurance which is managed by the Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) an autonomous body created by the law under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. ESI return is reuired to be filed on 15th of every month.

A unique code of 17 digits in number is given by the Government once the verification of the form-1 is finalized. The employees have to submit the employer with the form involving the particulars of their family members along with their photographs. These employees will receive an ESI card under the Employee State Insurance Corporation(ESIC) registration process.
