    RCMC Registration-APEDA

    RCMC stand for Registration Cum Membership Certificate which is issued by the Export Promotion Council (EPC) or the Commodity Board. Any exporter desiring to deal with the Scheduled Products are compulsory to obtain the RCMC registration from the Export Promotion Council/ Commodity Board.

    APEDA refers to Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority. APEDA is established in 1985 which is owned by government. Authority of APEDA provides Financial assistance, information, guidelines towards the development of products specified under the APEDA Act to the exporter trades.

    PROCESS FOR RCMC-APEDA REGISTRATION

    Fill application and submit along with payment

    Fill the application with all the basic details of the applicant and other required details of business. Submit required documents online. After successfully payment an Application Number will be generated for future references.

    In case of objection in application

    In case of any shortcomings in the application submitted, the resubmission of the application and documents is required.

    Generation of APEDA Certificate

    After approval of the application filed. APEDA registration certificate will be generated.

    VALIDITY

    RCMC will be valid for period of one to five years (as per the registration taken) after which the exporters will have to register afresh.

    For what period of time the certificate of RCMC is valid?

    The certificate of RCMC is issued for the period of maximum five years, unless otherwise specified starting from 1st April of the licensing year of issuance till the end of 31st March of the licensing year by the Export Promotional Councils (EPC) /Commodity board in India.

    • Breach of conditions provided in the registration certificate.
    • Breach of rules framed by the registering authority.

In the case the applicant fails to register themselves within the time frame, can apply for the same with sufficient cause, the concerned authority is satisfied could extend the time limit.

    Do the applicant requires to present physically for registration?

    No, You are not required to be physically present for the registration process.

    Do applicant requires to file monthly returns under RCMC-APEDA Registration?

    No return is required to be filed under RCMC-APEDA Registration. It is only a license providing permission for the export of goods.
