FIEO stands for the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO). It is introduced by The Ministry of Commerce in order to promote India’s exports. The FIEO all the Indian entrepreneurs who are involved in the export-import market and thus is a partner of the Government of India in promoting India’s exports.
In case were exporter has multiple products lines of business one can take a common registration and the FIEO can issue RCMC under its multi-product group category for a year from April to March. However, additionally exporter has to register by declaring lines of business with the respective EPCs.

Fill the application with all the basic details of the applicant and other required details of business. Submit required documents online. After successfully payment an Application Number will be generated for future references.
In case of any shortcomings in the application submitted, the resubmission of the application and documents is required.
After approval of the application filed. FIEO registration certificate will be generated.
This registration is valid for the period of one to five years (as per application filed).
The post registration compliances are:
Merchant Exporter, Manufacturer Exporter, Merchant-cum-Manufacturer Exporter, or Service Provider can register with the FIEO to obtain the RCMC.
The certificate of RCMC is issued for the maximum period of five years, unless otherwise specified starting from 1st April of the licensing year of issuance till the end of 31st March of the licensing year.
Objective of FIEO Registration are-
If any adjustment in constitution, possession, name and address of an exporter, it is mandatory for the RCMC holder to imply such a change to the enrolling authority within 30 days from date of that change.
If multi item exporters occurs, not enlisted with any Export Promotion Council, where the line of business is not settled yet then the exporter shall file with the Federation of Indian Exporters Organization to procure RCMC.
Any exporter desiring for RCMC have to declare his primary line of business in the application that is to be submitted to the EPC (Export Promotion Council) identifying with such line of business.
The applicant is required to submit a registration application form to the concerned registering authority within a month from undertaking the business. In the case the applicant fails to register themselves within the time frame, can apply for the same with sufficient cause, the concerned authority is satisfied could extend the time limit.
