Once the applicant has selected the ISO standard and ISO certification body, application to be made in a prescribed form. The application must contain rights and obligations of certification body parties and entrepreneur.
The ISO certification body will review all the documents of various policies and procedures and quality manuals the organisation. Review helps the ISO registrar in identifying the possible gaps between the existing work and the requirements in the ISO standards.
The Pre-assessment refers to an initial review of the Quality Management System to identify any significant weakness/ omissions in the system and opportunity to correct the deficiencies is provide by the registrar before the regular registration assessment is conducted.
